The Chennai Corporation will take up garbage clearance on a war footing, said Mayor Saidai Duraisamy.Speaking to mediapersons after taking the oath of office on Tuesday, Mr. Duraisamy said that a number of major policy decisions pertaining to the civic body would be taken after obtaining the approval of the Chief Minister shortly.
